HARMONDEG INSTITUTE FOR PHILOSOPHY & PRACTICE

"Humanity is the center and guardian
of the civilization it built."

— The Harmondeg Manifesto

Harmondeg philosophy is, first of all, a practical philosophy. It does not merely interpret the world; it takes part in practice — never empty theoretical talk.

What Philosophy Does: The Three Orders

  1. First order · Ask after the root — what makes philosophy philosophy is, fundamentally, the questioning of origins: the world, consciousness — whence they come. To abandon the questioning of origins is for philosophy to cease to be philosophy; it should no longer be called philosophy.
  2. Second order · Look back: critically inherit the past systems of thought.
  3. Third order · Answer the age, shape the future — responding with wisdom and "love" to the fundamental, global, whole-scale questions of each age, proposing solutions, guiding contemporary practice, and shaping the future of humanity and civilization.

The definition of philosophy: philosophy takes the questioning of origins as its first task, inherits by looking back critically, and answers the questions of the age with wisdom and "love" — the highest wisdom and "love" of humanity as a whole, crystallized.

The essence of the world is Corre Response. Its basic features are at least: all-dimensional; timeless (immediate); eternally dynamic; "reverberative" response.

This is where Harmondeg philosophy differs from generic philosophy: practicality is not an applied branch of philosophy but its necessary character — systems of thought, and philosophy above all, play a synthesizing, overseeing role in practice; it is the ground on which philosophy stands, exists, and develops within the practice of human civilization.

What They Say

A section for third-party commentary is being prepared. We believe the credibility of a new school of philosophy comes from others' judgment, not from self-praise.
